The story
Xavier "Xavi" Torregrosa Jorques, a Spanish/Irish young musician and software engineer hailing from Alicante, Spain, found his passion for both technology and music intertwined from a young age. Born into a world of rhythm and melody, Xavi's journey began in the vibrant streets of Alicante, where the Mediterranean breeze carried whispers of inspiration.
As the son of a great biology teacher and one of the greatest artists from Valencia, creativity coursed through Xavi's veins like a river of untamed energy. From his father, he inherited a profound appreciation for the natural world and science, while his mother instilled within him a reverence for the transformative power of artistic expression.
Fuelled by a relentless curiosity, Xavi pursued his academic endeavours with zeal, studying software engineering in the culturally diverse landscapes of Spain and Sweden. His professional odyssey led him to the forefront of technological innovation, gracing the corridors of renowned corporations like Microsoft and HubSpot. Yet, amidst the bustling world of code and algorithms, Xavi harboured an unyielding devotion to his true muse—music.
The place
Relocating to the vibrant musical hub of Dublin, Ireland, Xavi found himself immersed in a melting pot of artistic expression. It was here, against the backdrop of cobblestone streets and the whispers of ancient lore, that he forged the foundations of his magnum opus—a progressive/modern rock project that transcended boundaries and embraced the ethos of sonic evolution.
In the depths of his spare moments, Xavi delved into the creative abyss, channelling his boundless imagination into sonic tapestries that defied convention. Drawing inspiration from the avant-garde realms of progressive and modern rock, he sculpted a sound that echoed the complexities of human emotion and the nuances of modern existence.
The musicians
During the trials of the pandemic, when the world seemed to stand still, Xavi made a daring decision—to share his music with the world. With unwavering determination, he enlisted the talents of Gareth "Gaz" Twist, whose emotive vocals breathed life into Xavi's compositions, transforming raw emotion into lyrical poetry.
But Xavi's ambitions didn't end with studio recordings. With a desire to bring his music to life on stage, he sought the expertise of Matija "Mat" Novak and James Dunne, virtuosos whose instrumental prowess added depth and talent to the live scene.
